For Vietnam
The children are living in government funded orphanages.

Referrals of children are normally given approximately 1-6 months after completed dossier is translated and authenticated in Vietnam.

Two trips are required (or parents may opt for one trip of at least seven weeks).

First Trip to Vietnam Submit paperwork for your child at Justice Department. You will need a copy of your state seal dossier and 4 passport photos of you and your spouse. (If applicable)

Second Trip to Vietnam Giving and Receiving of your child. And meet with INS officals to apply for a visa for you child.
Upon the second trip to Vietnam you will need to bring the following:

1. Husband and Wife's Birth Certificates.
2. Marriage License and Divorce Decree(If applicable).
3. Home Study.
4. Form I 171H (Letter of approval from the INS).
5. Copy of first page of passport (Notarized).
6. Letter from Employer (Notarized).
7. I-600 (Notarized).
8. OF - 230 Part 1 (Application for Immigrant Visa).
9. Of - 230 Part 2 (Application for Immigrant Visa).
10. Form 9003 (IRS Questionnaire).
11. Form I-864 and I-864-A Form INS (Notarized in Several Spots).
12. Last (3) three years tax forms with W-2's attached.
13. Power of Attorney for spouse not traveling (Notarized)

Adoptive parents adopting from sourthern Vietnam normally stay in Vietnam approximately three to seven days for the first trip, seven to fourteen days for the second trip. Families adopting from the north will take approximately five business days for the first trip, and approximately one and a half to three weeks for the second trip.

Parents who travel will meet our staff in Vietnam. Our staff will meet you at the airport and also have your hotel reservations and transportation for you. You will have your hotel information in advance to leave for relatives and friends.

Infants, twins, siblings, and older children may be available.

Program fees and costs are paid per child (i.e. twins and siblings are subject to lowerfees).

Air Travel will be arranged by A.D.O.P.P.T., Inc. unless otherwise specified.

Adoptive parents may be married, single, or divorced. One parent must be at least 25 years old.

Only (1) parent must travel, with Power of Attorney from non-traveling spouse. Please look for Power of Attorney in your A.D.O.P.P.T., Notebook.

Notary commission on documents must be valid for at least six months from time of submission.

Clients are encouraged to bring gifts and donations.

Fees are non-refundable except as provided in A.D.O.P.P.T., Inc.'s service contract. A.D.O.P.P.T., Inc. cannot guarantee any of the time periods noted above, or that fees will remain constant. We are working within policies and framework of the Vietnamese government.
